St. Simeon Skete, Taylorsville Kentucky USA

With St. Simeon, the God receiver, as our patron, the skete seeks to practice the ideals found in our Rule, The Thousand Day Nazareth. In simplicity and poverty, the skete embraces the struggle of inner life through the practice of the Prayer Rope.

NHA Annual Rosary Pilgrimage 2008

Nazareth House Apostolate Rosary Pilgrimage began with Lauds (Morning Prayer) and Mass in the Rosary Chapel of Grace Church. The Painting "Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary" is enthroned in this chapel. The painting (photos #1 & #2) is dated as a precursor to the famous rosary painting in Pompeii . Before taking off on our Rosary journey, Fr. Seraphim gave us some instruction on the Rosary Bead (The Nazareth House Rosary) and prepared us for the Pilgrimage.
