Matthew 5:42

"We must work the works of Him who sent me while it is day;
night is coming, when no one can work", John 9:4 (ESV)

Everyone is working like fury to get the Nazareth House Apostolate School, Kabala ready for the first day of the new session on September 16th.

The building and classrooms need to be painted.  Funding usually comes in bit by bit and at the last minute so we must wait for it and then rush to get things done.  But that's okay, we are so very thankful that it happens at all.  We could be left without, thanks to our sponsors we are not.

Everyone is pitching in to get things looking nice for the new students

Little Miss Vicki seems to think her part in getting the school ready is at the Supervisor Level, she's being the Job Forman - telling everyone what to do!

While some are working,  preparing the building...

the seamstresses are rapidly making one uniform after another with each donation received.

Little Miss Vicki, is Supervising the stock of uniforms with great energy!

We need 600 uniforms in total so each student may have two in their wardrobe.

Lucy Mansaray with some of the students and completed uniforms so far.
These children must wash their uniforms in a stream or bucket and dry in the sun on rocks or on a clothes line so two sets of uniforms is minimum.

They really should have more.  However, we can make it work with two.  One set, simply is going to be difficult to keep clean all week.

By your generosity, one student at a time is getting a uniform.  Unfortunately, there will be many who will start to school on Monday without a new uniform.

So while we have worked beautifully together to provide these uniforms,

We must continue to spread the word, involve others and make this a reality.  NO PARENT working so hard to put food on the table

should have to withdraw their child from school because of inadequate clothing.

So let's continue to do what we can to make this school year the best ever at NHA School in Kabala.
Share the need, ask your co-workers
neighbors, family and friends to give.

We also need to enlarge the classrooms to accommodate the huge flux of new enrollments.
NHA School is one the best in the area - something we all should be very proud of!

If you haven't given towards this worthy cause, please consider doing so today!

And if you have already given, thank you!

Please encourage others to do the same.

God bless you all!
