St. Simeon Skete, Taylorsville Kentucky USA

With St. Simeon, the God receiver, as our patron, the skete seeks to practice the ideals found in our Rule, The Thousand Day Nazareth. In simplicity and poverty, the skete embraces the struggle of inner life through the practice of the Prayer Rope.

Nazareth House Holy Week

O Lord and Master of my Life! Take from me the spirit of sloth, despair, lust of power and idle talk.

Grant rather the spirit of chastity, humility, patience and love to thy servant.

Yea, O Lord and King! Grant me to see my own transgressions and not to judge my brother, for blessed art Thou, unto ages of ages.

O God, Cleanse me a sinner.

-The Prayer of St. Ephraim

Nazareth House Apostolate will be observing Holy Week, however, blog posts will be published periodically throughout the week. By request, the Sierra Leone Stations of the Cross will be posted beginning Maundy Thursday. Have a blessed Holy Week.
