St. Simeon Skete, Taylorsville Kentucky USA

With St. Simeon, the God receiver, as our patron, the skete seeks to practice the ideals found in our Rule, The Thousand Day Nazareth. In simplicity and poverty, the skete embraces the struggle of inner life through the practice of the Prayer Rope.

Roo much better and back in St. Laurence House Routine

Roo is recovering very well from the malaria, typhoid and worms he has been suffering the last two weeks. Roo, like all of our staff at St. Laurence House, Freetown, Sierra Leone - Roo is a strong survivor.

Wasting no time, Roo has quickly got back into the swing of things at St. Laurence House and started back with his chores.

As Ann Marie went out to pick up a bag of rice for the family...

Roo begins to hang the day's laundry...

He is proud to be back pitching in with the rest of the family to keep things running smoothly,

healing and happy, Roo and Ann Marie enjoy a good day.

Wishing a Happy Monday to each and everyone of you, Thank you for your prayers...they sustain us all!
