St. Simeon Skete, Taylorsville Kentucky USA

With St. Simeon, the God receiver, as our patron, the skete seeks to practice the ideals found in our Rule, The Thousand Day Nazareth. In simplicity and poverty, the skete embraces the struggle of inner life through the practice of the Prayer Rope.

NHA Friends behind the Scenes

James (front center), Sanu behind him at Dyclar Internet Services.

Nazareth House Apostolate wants to thank everyone who work tireless behind the scenes to make possible the accomplishment the work that we do. There is one group, in particular, who provide NHA with a service that allows us to keep in constant communication (across an ocean). Through James' savvy computer know-how, The NHA-Dyclar Branch enables us to bear witness to the daily ups and downs of living in the poverty-stricken nation of Sierra Leone. We see first hand the struggles AND the positives. We learn how and in what way we are most needed.

The Dyclar Internet Services has grown with us and improved. The Computers are fairly up-to-date and the server is pretty consistent.
One of our greatest joys coming out of Dyclar is the wonderful news that Betsy is with child after trying for a very long time. She was worried she could not conceive. Here's a story with a happy ending! We love you Betsy.

It is the plans of NHA to provide a Internet Baby Shower for her - more details and news on that very soon.

Simithe has recently finished additional schooling. We are so very proud of her and her determination and stamina. We love you, Simithe

Sanu, has long been a helpful friend to NHA, lending us his little red car to perform rice distributions, trips to Kabala, etc. We love you, Sanu.

Our friends at Dyclar are even offering Roo an early education of computer skills.

Thank you to our friends at Dyclar, you give us the gift
to bear witness to the needs, the work, and the dreams.

Nazareth House Apostolate loves you all!
