This Week in Kabala in and around the NHA School

Report from Mako Mansaray, Kabala, Sierra Leone.

Greetings form Kabala and Nazareth House Apostolate Primary School.

As a school, we want to give God the glory for yet another week in the school calendar, and the first week in June.

James with our NHA Teachers of NHA Kabala School.

It was a very busy week for the school as well as for our friends and supporters out there in the States and Freetown. We want to extend our sincere thanks and love to them especially Mama Vicki, Father Seraphim and James

for their tireless effort and support to us, and to all of you out there, including Liz
Holt, for all the prayers and support.

To you all we extend our appreciations for you have been so helpful and prayerful for all of NHA. I know there are many of you out there who have been of great help to the school in Kabala and the entire work of NHA. To you all we say “TENKI” (Krio for Thank you)!

We want to thank you all for supporting the school and making these children to have quality education. Your help and support is a blessing and changing the lives of children out here in Kabala. We can do more if only we can share God's blessings by giving our support and donations to NHA to provide the basic necessities of life: food, medicine and shelter amongst the most pressing needs of the people in Sierra Leone.

We want to give thanks to God,NHA,and our dear supporters and friends out there who join us in prayers for Sheaku, one of our Kids at NHA School who is seriously sick as a result of WORMS. It has always been a problem for my children out here in Kabala.

Sheaku is 5 years old and in class one. He lives in a Bible School with his family. Sheaku has to walk a mile and half by foot every morning to come to school. His belly is swollen with worms - internal parasites.
Seriously infected with so many worms; it has kept him out of school, but we want to thank the timely intervention of Mama Vicki, as she was restless until NHA could do something. James got the worm’s pills to the Government Bus Station yesterday (even while his wife, Kadijah is so sick at home)

and I had to wait for well over 5 hours in Kabala to get them. Upon the medication's arrival,l I took it right away for Sheaku in the village of Bible School. He was able to
start the treatment right away. I am keeping a close watch over him to see how he responds to the first set of treatment. There is great hope for him having now received the worm’s pills. Again, without the donations from you guys, NHA could not have purchased the worm pills that we have given him. See the help you are giving?
Please keep James wife, Kadijah in your continued prayers as she recovers from malaria.

We should continue to pray for Mama Fatu, also the wife of Pa. Foday, our mother.

I was busy helping Sheaku when I was called that she is seriously sick.
such a small creature with such painful results

Pa. Foday was in the farm working, so I had to send for him. Still having some medical supply form NHA, he was able to give some to Mammy Fatu. It turned out to be more serious than we expected. She is suffering from both Malaria and Typhoid!

Pa. Foday was able to get some one to treat her. We want you all to join us in prayer for her. Pa Foday needs his wife and all of us children of hers need her as well.

From the NHA School and as one big family such as NHA, we want to thank God for everything, as it is GOOD TO GIVE THANKS IN EVERYTHING! Though times become difficult we must always Glorify God.
As you see all that your donations are doing, please continue to give. Give today as your giving will save lives and help the poorest of the poor.
May His love keep us all.
Mako.
