Friday: THE MAKO REPORT APRIL 9

Report by Mako Mansaray, Kabala, Sierra Leone

Fr. Seraphim and Mako Mansaray

Dear Friends and Supporters,
Greetings from Kabala. We want to thank God for yet another blessed
Easter. As we all know it such an important event in the Christian
and In Kabala,it is the tradition for people to celebrate on Easter
Monday. People go out to places such as Yataya,Musaia,Radio
Bintumani, and Diang Chiefdom,a very popular place known for mining
Gold and other Minerals. It is a very happy day for people out here in
Kabala and the near by villages.

We the staff at NHA School Kabala use this very day to come up with a
programme known as "Home Visit" for our children. It is a programme
designed to trace and keep track of all NHA students. This will help us to
encourage parents to send their children to school, and to keep up with
their health status.
It was a welcomed idea as most parents were very happy to see us
around, knowing that we care and love their children.

School reopens again on Monday. We cannot wait to get back to work.We
miss the kids and the fun.It will be good to see all our kids again.

The teachers have already submitted their lesson note for next week
which I will go through before classes on Monday. We are starting the
Third Term in the school calender and this is the final term in the
school year 2009\2010.

I am presently working on the report cards for the children after the
teachers have submitted them to me. We will issuing this report cards
to children soon.

As our foundation as school is built on the true word of God,our
Scripture text for this term is taken from the book of Isaiah
55:10-11,"As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return
to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish,so
that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,so is my
word that goes out from my mouth:It will not return to me empty, but
will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent
it."
To all our friends and supporters especially Mamma Vicki and Father
Hicks we say your effort, concern and hard work will not go in vain, but
will achieve the purpose for which it is sent.

To you all we say "Thank you for making a difference in our lives
through your help and support."
May the good Lord bless us all.
With love,
Mako.
