Washing Post Article on Child Birth & Dr. Conteh

If you truly want to know what Nazareth House is dealing with, hands on, in Sierra Leone, I seriously recommend the following article in the Washington Post.

To read; cut and paste the following address into your browser. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/12/AR2008101201886.html?nav=rss_world/africa

The doctor in Kabala, of which the article speaks (James Conteh)...is the very one that Nazareth House supplies with hospital equipment and necessities. There is a slide show video link on the sight of this article... "Oh my darling, Goodbye" that is very graphic but is what we contend with in Sierra Leone all the time, it is such a detailed taste of reality for those in Sierra Leone trying to bring children in this world.... After Salu and Kadiatu's trauma this past weekend and subsequent loss of child...you can understand the task we have in that country.

Nazareth House Apostolate invites you to invest yourself through the resources that God has given you - your prayers, your energy, and your donations - in this work to which God has called us. Our vision is to marry together the needs with resources to meet those needs. We offer you an exciting opportunity to participate in a new communion with others while becoming part of a much larger spiritual vision and fruitfulness.

Our photos, blogs, writings and videos have become your magnifying glass into the needs of those suffering into Sierra Leone. You are welcomed into the lives of those who are a part of the Nazareth House family in Sierra Leone, America and the rest of the world. They are not simply faces on a photograph, they are family, there is a relationship. Please give expression to the love and compassion within you. Give to Nazareth House today.
